You are excited about machine learning and you have always been interested in speech and audio signal processing?
We have the right job for you!
You investigate and research on how machine learning can be efficiently applied to speech and audio signal processing including applications in the area of speech enhancement, audio source separation and classification.
In recent years, Fraunhofer IIS has been involved in developing advanced speech and audio processing algorithms, such as voice quality enhancement using microphone arrays or next generation speech and audio coding. We are looking for experienced colleagues who help us to improve our solutions based on new machine learning concepts as well as making these methods usable on mobile and embedded devices.
For over 30 years, the institute’s Audio and Media Technologies division has been shaping the globally deployed standards and technologies in the fields of audio and
moving picture production. Starting with the creation of mp3 and continuing with the co-development of AAC and the Digital Cinema Initiative test plan, almost all consumer electronic devices, computers and mobile phones are equipped with systems and technologies from Erlangen today. Meanwhile, a new generation of best-in-class media technologies is elevating the user experience to new heights. Always taking into account the demands of the market, Fraunhofer IIS develops technology that makes memorable moments.
